ios – React native progressive internet app apple-touch-icon not rendering? (utilizing expo)

I am having hassle getting the apple-touch-icon to render for a react native progressive internet app constructed with expo. As famous in https://docs.expo.dev/guides/progressive-web-apps/, expo robotically generates the progressive internet app belongings, and so they appear to be generated appropriately. They work on android.

The apple-touch-icon is indicated appropriately in web-build/index.html:

<hyperlink rel="apple-touch-icon" sizes="180x180" href="/pwa/apple-touch-icon/apple-touch-icon-180.png">

When including the progressive internet app to the house display on iOS although, I get a screenshot of the app’s first display because the icon, which isn’t best.

Does anybody have a hunch on what could possibly be going flawed?

Thanks!
